Fermenting with Phil: A class for everyone who is interested in fermentation, and specifically Kombucha

From the daily drinker who simply wants to know more about the beverage, to the household that wants to start their mini-production for themselves and family and friends to share.

The class will cover and show you everything you need to know about the product itself and how to make it safely at home. No prior knowledge of kombucha or fermentation is necessary to participate in this class.

 

Included in this class are:

  • Kombucha Scoby to take home
  • Luncheon with Kombucha-inspired recipes
  • Mixologist curated Kombucha cocktail

 

About Our Guest Presenter Philippe Gervais

Phillippe is owner operator at VALK Fermentation Inc. and has been practicing the art of fermentation for the past 10 years. He started making kombucha 7 years ago and has made some on a weekly basis ever since. He now produces and sells across New Brunswick.

 

In this class:

Great cooking is about more than recipes – it’s about timing, technique and having fun. During our classes, you’ll join other food enthusiasts for a demonstration led by our guest, followed by a luncheon and cocktail.

 

Food preferences can be accommodated.  People under the age of 18, must be accompanied by an adult.
